Attached is a PDF of the guide, but members may also access the guide at www.ersri.org and at http://www.treasury.ri.gov/secure-path-ri/guide.php. On behalf of General Treasurer Gina M. Raimondo: It is my pleasure to provide you with a copy of the newly released Employee’s Guide to Understanding the Rhode Island Retirement Security Act. In it, you will find information designed to help members of the Employees’ Retirement System of Rhode Island understand how the new law affects them. This guide is the first step in Treasury’s robust education campaign surrounding the Rhode Island Retirement Security Act (RIRSA). During the coming weeks, Treasury will also introduce new online retirement eligibility calculators, a special newsletter for members and retirees, extended hours for retirement counselors and a schedule of regional information sessions. It is my priority to arm ERSRI members with the information they need to make the best choices for their retirement. If my office can assist you with additional information, please do not hesitate to contact us. Sincerely, Gina Raimondo General Treasurer Click here for PDF file of Guide
