Any member who wishes to drop their EMT-C license must follow the new de-certification procedure (attached), with seniority taking precedence to a Dept. minimum of 35. (As per Dept. Procedure for De-certification, revised (09/03/2009).

NORTH PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- A Superior Court judge has decided against a preliminary injunction that would block Mayor Charles A. Lombardi from closing the Geneva fire station.
